    • Actually, I can’t do that. Mathematics is in the public domain, and so I would never attempt to copyright anything mathematical. Math belongs to us all, or belongs to no one — take your pick — for it underlies the fabric of all reality.

      This is why I never speak, nor write, of anyone “inventing” something in mathematics. Knowledge in mathematics is only discovered; it is never invented. Does that fly in the face of Isaac Newton’s horrible actions against Leibnitz, which Newton did to made certain he got the credit for “inventing” calculus? Yes, it does — deliberately. Newton was a great scientist, and a great mathematician, but, as a human being, he was a horrible monstrosity.
