Have you purchased the fully-functioning version of the program? The free trial version doesn’t have that feature.

Try “Export image/video” under the “File” tab. If that doesn’t work, you may need an upgrade. I use “Stella 4d,” myself, and am not sure if “Small Stella” has .gif-making abilities.
