A Great Dodecahedron with Peepholes Posted on 28 July 2014 by RobertLovesPi If anyone is inside this polyhedron, they can see you! Software credit: see www.software3d.com/Stella.php. I see this as an icosahedron.
What shape are the inside faces/ pentagons?
In the “normal” great dodecahedron, the twelve faces are intersecting, regular pentagons. In this “peephole” version, those pentagons have smaller pentagonal holes in them. With either the normal or “peephole” version, the convex hull of the figure would indeed be an icosahedron. The great dodecahedron may also be seen as a faceted icosahedron.
Muchas gracias (I live in Puerto Rico now!)
