COVID rebound

Example:

“Honey, why are you home from the store so fast?”

“I didn’t make it all the way there. This is just a COVID rebound.”

    • It actually happened, too. About an hour ago I was driving to the store, but returned home early because I left my mask at home. As I approached our apartment, I suddenly realized I was doing a COVID rebound.
